| Description | A semi-hat-shaped channel can be formed on the edge of a sheet with the F184-F185 set. The release wedge and hook stripper assure positive part removal. | The F200-F201 set forms four square bends in one stroke. The spring pad in the die keeps the web flat. Release wedges in the punch and die permit easy removal of the part. | The F186-F187 set can be used to form flat-bottomed channels in one stroke. Stripping is assured with release wedges and hook strippers. | By tapering sides of the channel, the design of the F204-F205 set is simplified and the cost reduced. A pressure pad in the lower die holds the material against the punch and maintains web flatness. It also serves to eject the part. | Channels with a web width of 3/4" or less are usually formed in a die set such as the F190-F191. Spring pads may be used if web width allows. | |||||
